Use the form below to search for a place to get the latitude and longitude. Maporama will actually bring back a map that will contain the coordinates.
Once you have entered your ancestor's information in the form below, look on the left hand side of the resulting page and you will see a category box that says "Information". It is a box similar to the one displayed below. The longitude and latitude will be in this box. You need to use the last set of numbers which are in the decimal format. In the example shown at the "Information" box below, those numbers are indicated with the red arrow.
